Bark and Go Dog Park on H Street Officially Open

CSX was glad to partner with WC Smith, the Capitol Riverfront BID and Councilman Allen to officially open the “Bark and Go” Dog Park on H Street SE beside The Collective Apartments and new Whole Foods on Thursday, September 6th. It was great to see residents, local businesses, and the 50 or so dogs so eager to help celebrate its opening. This previously underused area at the corner of New Jersey Ave and H Street SE has been transformed into a 3,000 square foot fenced-in dog park for the Capitol Riverfront neighborhood. While your pets play around the park, take a seat on one of the park benches and enjoy the views of “Shidahiku”, the new Anthony Howe kinetic sculpture that has been installed.
